Hyderabad, Dec. 27 The 69th All-India Industrial Exhibition, the flagship exposition organised by the Exhibition Society of Hyderabad, will be organised from January 1 to February 15, 2009.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Mr K Jana Reddy, Minister for Home, Jails, Fire Services, Government of Andhra Pradesh and President, Exhibition Society, said “this year around 2,500 stalls have been allotted till date including from State and Central Government Departments and Public Sector Undertaking.”

Many corporate and multinational companies are also participating in the exhibition this year.

Mr Reddy said that since the State Government has extended the lease of the land till 2052, the society is now looking to erect permanent structures and will be soon starting the process.

“A consultant has been identified for creating all the modern facilities including permanent stalls, parking space and an auditorium. We hope to take a decision on the issue before March next year,” he added.

He also said that beautification of the grounds has been taken up at various places in the Exhibition Grounds.
