Meet on chemical research

Mangalore, Dec. 28

The three-day International Conference on Frontiers in Chemical Research (ICFCR) will begin in Mangalore on December 29. A press release by the Department of Chemistry, Mangalore University, said here on Saturday that various aspects of chemistry and latest developments in the field of chemistry will be presented and discussed in various scientific sessions. Prof B. Balaram, Director of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, will inaugurate the conference. Mr U.K. Basu, M anaging Director of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd, will be the chief guest. —
