Our Bureau

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 28 Diamond jewellery retailer Sunny Diamonds is opening a store in the city on Monday.

This will be the company’s second store in the State, said Mr P.P. Sunny, Chairman and Managing Director, Sunny Diamonds. The company, which has been in the diamond merchandising business for over a decade, opened its first diamond jewellery store in Kochi in 2006.

Like its Kochi store, the company’s store in Thiruvananthapuram’s Pattom locality will sell Belgium-cut diamond jewellery with designs in gold, platinum and precious stones. The store will also offer a 100 per cent money back guarantee on the diamonds it sells, Mr Sunny said.

First time visitors to the company’s store will be exposed to information on diamonds, the qualities of good diamonds and so on. A diamond sold by the company comes with a card bearing details of the diamond, its picture on the money back card and insurance cover for one year, said a company press release. The company has also launched a ‘diamond for everyone’ savings scheme to enable people from all sections of society buy diamonds from its stores, the release added.
