Hyderabad, Dec. 30

A one-day workshop on The Right to Information Act was organised by NTPC Ltd at Southern Region headquarters in Secunderabad today. During the meeting, the Chief Information Commissioner, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Mr Arha, said transparency, accountability and participation by the citizens are the pillars of good governance. More decision making is to be brought into the public domain through transparency and information sharing, thereby empowering people. The Executiv e Director (HR), NTPC, Mr R.K. Rastogi, in a statement said that NTPC has taken concrete actions to provide information to the citizens in accordance with the RTI Act.
