Jet Air, JetLite offer special fares

Our Bureau

New Delhi, Jan. 1

Jet Airways and its 100 per cent subsidiary, JetLite have introduced a 21-day advanced purchase fare of Rs 250 and Rs 9 respectively.

A passenger wanting to avail himself of these fares will have to make a booking by January 31 and ensure that the date of travel is at least 21 days after the booking has been made.

The actual fare being paid will, however, be much higher as the passenger will have to pay various surcharges, including the fuel surcharge and passenger service fee.

Currently, most airlines charge a fuel surcharge of Rs 2,750 for distances more than 750 km and Rs 1,900 for shorter distances.
