KVGB gets new Chairman

Mangalore, Jan. 4

Mr K.P. Muralidharan assumed charge as the new Chairman of the Dharwad-headquartered Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB) on Saturday. Before assuming charge, Mr Muralidharan was Deputy General Manager of Kannur region of Syndicate Bank. A bank release said here that Mr Muralidharan has served in various capacities in states such as Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra. At present, KVGB is doing Rs 5,504 crore business with 409 branches in nine districts of Karnataka. - Our Bureau
