PNB back-office in Kerala

Kochi, Jan. 4

Punjab National Bank has started back-office operations for Kerala circle and cash/cheque depositing facility in ATMs. Mr Krishnan Ramiah, Circle Head, PNB, while inaugurating the office, said that riding on the technological advancement made by the bank, the back-office operations of the 133 branches will be done at Kozhikode. He said that cash and cheque deposits through ATMs have been started in Kerala. At present this facility is offered at West Hill ATM but will soon be available at the 44 ATMs in the State. - Our Bureau
