Power bill payment facility

With more banks: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Minster, Mr Arcot N Veerasamy, launching the expanded bill payment facility for its Chennai-based customers on Sunday. The facility would enable account holders of Indian Bank to pay their power bills through Net banking, while ICICI Bank customers can make the payment by credit card or debit card as well as Net banking. TNEB had introduced an Any Time Payment system last April, in collaboration with Canara Bank. It joined hands with Axis Bank to allow payments by credit and debit cards. Plans were on to extend online payment facility to other parts of the State. –
