L&T unit bags Rs 1,100-cr orders

Mumbai, Jan. 6

The Buildings and Factories Operating Company of Larsen and Toubro, part of its construction division, has bagged add-on orders totalling about Rs 1,100 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal. L&T said these orders were from its ongoing projects such as mixed use developments at Chandigarh, Darley Road Tower in Sri Lanka, Airport Hotel at Bangalore and at its airport projects. The orders further enhance the order book which had already secured major design- and-buil d orders at airports, IT Parks and commercial spaces, the company said. —
