Maytas Infra wins S.Rly order

Hyderabad, Jan. 6

Maytas Infra Limited on Tuesday announced that Southern Railway has entrusted the company with a project worth Rs. 110 crore for doubling the BG (Broad Gauge) track between Chengalpattu and Villupuram. This project is a joint venture with CT Ramanathan (CTR) and Maytas Infra will execute the projects in 18 months from the date of the agreement. The Chief Finance Officer of Maytas Infra, Mr V.V. Rama Raju, in a statement said, “this project when completed will aid Sou thern Railways significantly ease the traffic flow between Chengalpattu and Villupuram in Tamil Nadu.” The company’s transportation vertical has implemented 10 projects and has 20 ongoing projects. —
