Kolkata, Jan. 8 Soma Enterprise Ltd has secured the contract for designing and construction of 54 major bridges on the western freight corridor of the proposed dedicated freight corridor, according to company sources.

The job, estimated to cost more than Rs 600 crore, covers approximately 200 km between Vaitarana and Utran on the Vasai-Bharuch section spreading over Maharashtra and Gujarat.

The company has to complete the job within 30 months, the sources added.
