Birla Sun Life health plans

Mumbai, Jan. 8

Birla Sun Life Insurance has forayed into the health insurance segment to tap the vastly underpenetrated Indian markets. The company is planning to enter the health space through two plans: the Health Plan and the Universal Health Plan. For both the plans, the minimum age of entry is 18 years and the maximum age is 65 years. The plans would extend the benefit of life coverage upto 80 years of age, said a press release issued by the company. - Our Bureau
