Nandi Valley setting up winery near Bangalore

Bangalore, Jan. 9 Nandi Valley Winery will invest Rs 10 crore in the next two years to set up a winery near Bangalore.

Nandi Valley Winery’s Managing Director, Mr K.S.N. Raju, told newspersons on Thursday that the Bangalore winery will have a capacity of 20 lakh litres, which will take the total capacity of the company to 30 lakh litres.

Nandi Valley Winery already has a 10-lakh litre winery in Bijapur. The company is also planning to set up a unit in the grape-rich Nashik area.

Kinvah sales

Mr Raju said its recently launched Kinvah brand has posted sales of about 1,000 cases a month, grossing a total of Rs 60 lakh. Nandi Valley Winery plans to launch another 12 brands during the current year.

It also plans to launch its wine brands in Maharashtra and Goa soon.
