Cement major ACC has appointed former Chief Financial Officer, Mr Onne van der Weijde, as a director on the board with effect from Friday. Dr Nirmalya Kumar has ceased to be a director of the company with immediate effect, the company said in a BSE announcement. Other board members of the company include Mr N.S. Sekhsaria, Chairman; Mr Paul Hugentobler, Deputy Chairman; Mr Sumit Banerjee, Managing Director, besides other director Mr S.M. Palia, Mr Naresh Chandra, Mr Markus Akermann, Mr M.L. Narula, Mr D.K. Mehrotra, Mr R.A. Shah, Mr Shailesh Haribhakti and Ms Shikha Sharma, according to data available on the company’s Web site.
