Coimbatore, Jan. 11 ‘Design Ace 2009’, the first annual engineering design contest proposed by Barry Wehmiller International Resources (BWIR), is scheduled to close its model submission on January 31. The winner is expected to bag awards worth Rs 75,000 and a three-month paid internship at BWIR.

A release from BWIR said that the participating team should submit one innovative design by choice and a design for a business problem provided by the company.

The short-listed participants of 20 teams would then have to present their models in front of a jury in Chennai.
