Financial Literacy centre opened

Dharmapuri, Jan 13

A Financial Literacy and Credit Counselling (FLCC) centre, under the aegis of the Indian Bank Trust for Rural Development, was inaugurated by the Regional Director of Reserve Bank of India, Mr F.R. Joseph, here on Tuesday. He also inaugurated the first biometric ATM and an exclusive Microsate branch to cater to the needs of the SHG members. Indian Bank is the lead bank in Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri. Mr Joseph said the FLCC concept was introduced to facilitate financial inclusive growth among the rural poor, especially the farmers. - Our Bureau
