CCCL and Sastra University tie up

Chennai, Jan 22

Consolidated Construction Consortium Ltd, a Chennai-based construction company has entered into an agreement with Sastra University of Thanjavur to upgrade students' employability. According to a press release from Consolidated Construction, the company will involve in course content formulation and support civil engineering students work in CCCL projects. The objective is to nurture skilled professionals and help make students industry-ready by the time they complete their course. The industry-academy linkage between CCCL and Sastra will help train students to become `hands on' professionals with construction experience. A skill development centre will also be set up in the Sastra University campus, the release said. - Our Bureau
