Seminar on concrete mix

Mangalore, Jan. 28

New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) will conduct a seminar on ‘Uses of high performance concrete in port construction’ for civil engineers of major ports of India, on January 30. An NMPT release said here on Wednesday that the seminar is designed to enable participants to understand the design principles of concrete mix design concept, guidelines and ingredients for manufacture of concrete, correct construction practices, among others. Prof Sandeep Sancheti, Direct or of National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), will inaugurate the seminar. Mr P. Tamilvanan, Chairman of NMPT, will preside over the function, the release added.
