6 MPs nominated to Shipping Board

Hyderabad, Feb. 2 A total of six Members of Parliament have been nominated as members of the National Shipping Board (NSB), under the Union Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways.

These include Mr P.S. Gadhavi, Mr K.V. Thangkabalu, Mr Anant Gangaram Geete and Mr Ram Kirpal Yadav (all from LS) and Mr Thennala G. Balakrishna Pillai and Mr Thirunavukkarasu (Rajya Sabha).

The Chairman of the NSB, Capt. P.V.K. Mohan, said the board, now in its golden jubilee year, is active in the affairs of privacy, maritime security in the recent time.
