Granules India’s Q2 net down

Hyderabad, Feb. 2 Granules India Ltd’s net profit decreased at Rs 76 lakh in the second quarter ended December 31, 2008 compared with Rs 2.28 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Total revenue increased 36 per cent at Rs 74.34 crore (Rs 47.84 crore). The profitability of the Hyderabad-based company was adversely impacted by the increase in expenditure driven by input costs. —
