IBM in services deal with Religare

Bangalore, Feb. 2

IBM is deploying three energy-efficient and green scalable modular data centres in a $3.1-million IT infrastructure services deal with financial services firm Religare Enterprises Ltd. IBM will design, build and maintain the scalable, modular and energy-efficient green data centres in Delhi, Noida and Mumbai for REL, which would help the financial service firm reduce annual power costs by 30-35 per cent. In addition, IBM will put in place the networking infrastructure an d a disaster recovery solution for Religare, the company said in a press release.
