AP Agri Dept launches portal

Hyderabad, Feb. 10

The Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Department has launched a portal of its own, Agricultural Resources Information Systems Network (Agrisnet), which would give all information about agriculture in the State. A release said the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, will launch the Web site soon. The release added that the portal was developed keeping in mind the literacy level of the farmers and hence to make it more farmer-friendly voice has been added. - Our Bureau
