Hathway unveils DVR solution

Mumbai, March 12

NDS, the provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, on Thursday has announced that Hathway, the digital cable provider in India, has launched the Digital Box PLUS DVR solution, based on NDS XTV™ DVR technology. The new DVR solution will enable subscribers to take control over what they watch and when they watch it. In the recent past, DTH player Tata Sky has launched a similar service. It gives Hathway subscribers the ability to record one television channe l while viewing another one. Subscribers can now pause, record, play back, rewind and fast forward recorded content for viewing when they choose. With NDS XTV DVR, Hathway delivers a compelling variety of content and on-demand digital television to viewers, and is well positioned to offer additional, advanced, next generation solutions in the future.
