Day Trading Guide

We reaffirm our prior view on DLF. Fresh short-position can be initiated if this stock declines below Rs 160, with tight stop-loss. Buy ICICI Bank and SBI in dips with tight stop-losses at Rs 324 and Rs 1,042, respectively. Desist trading on Infosys and RIL for the session as the outlook is cautious. We reiterate our sell recommendation on ONGC. Fresh long position can be initiated if L&T exceeds Rs 690 and Reliance Capital moves above Rs 368, with stiff stop-loss. We recommend a buy on Reliance Communications. Nifty Future was choppy in the last trading session. Initiate fresh short-position only if Nifty Future tumbles below 2983 level, with stiff stop-loss.

(The analysis and opinion expressed in these columns are based on the technical analysis of the past price behaviour. The stop-loss level provided with the recommendation is important. The original view would stand negated if the stop-loss level is breached. There is a risk of loss in trading)
