Routes Asia awards announced

Hyderabad, April 1 The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has won the Routes Airport Makreint Award at the seventh edition of Routes Asia 2009 held here. Mr Kiran Kumar Grandhi, Chairman (Airports) of GMR, and Mr P S Nair received the award from the organisers at the three-day event concluded here on Tuesday.

Announcing this here on Wednesday, Mr P S Nair, the Chief Executive Officer of RGIA, said that the airport won the award in the Indian-Sub Continent area, scoring over four other airports in the region.
