eMudhra digital signatures extended

Mumbai, April 2

3i Infotech Consumer Services has partnered with financial services company Karvy Group to extend the reach of eMudhra Digital Signature Certificates in the country. According to the pact, Karvy Data Management Services Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Karvy Stock Broking Ltd, will be one of their Registration Authorities and will promote, sell and distribute eMudhra digital signature certificates. eMudhra Digital Signatures ( www.e-mudhr a.com) was launched in November 2008 for e-filing of IT returns, eTenders, eTicketing, MCA21 etc. Going forward, the Web site is expected to be used for online banking, e-commerce and online trading, the company said in a press release.
