Kaashyap Tech to buy stake in US co

Chennai, April 2 Kaashyap Technologies plans to acquire up to 49 per cent stake in Logistics Solutions Inc, US. This will be through issue of Global Depository Receipts on a back-toback basis in lieu of cash consideration amounting not more than $6 million. Its board will meet on April 9 to discuss this, according to a company announcement to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The Chennai-based software company in 2007 acquired the consulting division of Logistics Solutions, an IT consulting company, for $8.5 million to expand the US operations. - Our Bureau
