Oil Country posts Rs 12-cr profit

Hyderabad, April 25

Oil Country Tubular Ltd posted Rs 12 crore profit in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2009. In the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, the Hyderabad-based company incurred a loss of Rs 5.23 crore. The revenue increased 45 per cent to Rs 152 crore (Rs 105 crore). For the full-year, net profit more than doubled at Rs 65 crore (Rs 29 crore). The board of directors of the company at its meeting held on Friday, had recommended dividend of Rs 1.50 an equity share of Rs 1 0 each subject to approval of members at the ensuing annual general meeting, the company informed BSE. —
