Marketing Research Variety - Sports Industry & Economy - Radio/TV Prime time matches gain popularity Mumbai, April 30 With prime time matches gaining popularity, the second match on April 29 (Day 12) between Mumbai Indians and Kings X1 Punjab led to a TVR of 4.2 compared with the first match between Knight Riders and Royal Challengers (TVR of 2.7). In an exciting finish, Kings XI Punjab stole the match from the Mumbai Indians who were unable to equal quite an achievable target, after their batting line up collapsed, according to aMap. The ratings (top 6 metros, C&S15+) of 4.2 per cent and net reach per cent (top 6 metros, C&S4+) of 14.6 pre cent for this prime time match of Day 12, were lower than last year’s match ratings of 5.3 per cent and reach of 15.9 per cent for Day 12.
