Technology Day on May 11

Thiruvananthapuram, April 30

Every year, `National Technology Day' is celebrated in India on May 11, and this year too several events will be organised here to mark the occasion. The city-based Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), HLL Lifecare and Terumo Penpol plan to jointly organise a lecture, competitions and presentations on various aspects of science to mark the occasion. The day is an occasion for all stakeholders - scientists, engineers, planners and all others engaged in governance and nation building - to take stock of the achievements in science and technology, especially developments over the past year, said a press note issued by Terumo Penpol. RGCB's campus will be the main venue for the various events planned to mark National Technology Day, the press note said. - Our Bureau
