Durapuf develops import substitute

Ahmedabad, May 4 Durapuf (Silvassa) Pvt Ltd, which has developed an import substitute material used in petrochemicals industry to clean the pipes, is targeting a turnover of Rs 550 crore this financial year.

The company recently launched Durafoam premium products in the Gujarat market, for use in a wide range of industries like furniture, mattresses, pillows, bolsters, and cushions, with up to 25 years’ guarantee, Mr Deepak Doshi, Managing Director, said in a statement here.

He said Durapuf is the first manufacturers to introduce the elastomer-coated import substitute in the Indian market for oil pipe cleaning industry and also has plans to introduce non-flammable coated foam. The company offers polyurethane (PU) foam, manufactured according to specific requirements by customers.
