Events States - Kerala Workshop on boiler operations Our Bureau Thiruvananthapuram, June 4 The Society of Energy Engineers and Managers (Seem), a professional body of certified energy managers and auditors, is organising a one-day workshop in Madurai to commemorate World Environment Day. To be held on Friday at the GRT Regency, the workshop would deal with ‘Energy efficient operation of industrial boilers,’ according to s spokesman for SEEM. The workshop would seek to cater to the needs of industries and professionals and update their knowledge on the efficient operation of industrial packaged boilers. Inefficient operation of boilers leads to more emission of carbon dioxide, which is a major component of greenhouse gases causing global warming. Maintaining all operating parameters of boilers at optimum level is very important in order that carbon dioxide emissions are kept to the minimum and fuel sources concerned, says Mr M. T.
