Bangalore, June 10 Wipro Ltd expects revenue growth to be muted in the current financial year as compared with 18 per cent growth in previous fiscal even as the company continues to face pricing pressure. “In the fourth quarter we saw negative revenue growth, and the first quarter of this fiscal year) will also be weak,” said Mr Suresh Senapaty, Chief Financial Oofficer, Wipro. For the current (June) quarter, Wipro expects its global IT revenues to be between $1.01 billion and $1 .03 billion, marginally down from the $1.06 billion it clocked in the March quarter. Stating that growth is expected to pick up in the second half of the current fiscal, Mr Senapaty said pricing was likely to stabilise by the end of the year. Further, Mr Senapaty said the company continued to see a healthy pipeline, which is better than that of last year. “We have got a decent share in the bids we participated,” he added. – Our Bureau More Stories on : Outlook | Software | Wipro Ltd
