Launching re-usable bandage

Bangalore, June 15

Bangalore-based Sant Meditek P Ltd has tied up with Physicool, UK, to launch the latter’s therapeutic re-usable bandage. Sant Meditek is the exclusive distributor of Physicool in the country, a release issued on their behalf by the UK Trade & Investment said here. The bandage contains a solution that rapidly cools the injured body part. It can be re-used by adding a coolant fluid, it said. UKTI enabled the marketing tie-up, said Dr Nagaraj, Chairman and Managing Director of Sant Meditek, which makes bio-medical and orthopaedic products and technologies. Sportspersons Dr M.P. Ganesh and Ms Ashwini Nachappa and the British Deputy High Commissioner in Karnataka, Mr Richard Hyde, were at the launch on Saturday. —
