Seminar on bridge technology

Mangalore, June 15

The Hubli-Dharwad centre of Indian Institution of Bridge Engineers (IIBE), in association with South Western Railway (SWR) zone, conducted a seminar on `repairs and rehabilitation of bridges' at Hubli recently, according to a press release by SWR here. Delivering the keynote address at the seminar, Mr M.C. Bhide, Honorary Director General of IIBE, said IIBE has published 25,000 pages of technical literature on the art and science of bridge engineering. It has also developed comprehensive database of bridges of different departments. Mr Kuldeep Chaturvedi, General Manager of SWR, presided over the seminar. - Our Bureau
