GTech plans framework for forging global tie-ups

Our Bureau

Thiruvananthapuram, June 15 As part of its efforts to boost the growth of Kerala’s IT sector, Group of Technopark Companies (GTech) plans to develop a framework for forging partnerships with institutions and business organisations in various countries. This proposal is the outcome of recent meetings between GTech, which is an industry association representing companies in Technopark Thiruvananthapuram, and various business organisations in Singapore, said Mr Satish Babu, Secretary, GTech, in a press statement.

Discussions on the framework for such partnerships with organisations across the world will be initiated during a GTech meeting scheduled later this month, he added.

There is renewed interest from the business community in Singapore to work with companies in Kerala, particularly in the IT sector, said the press statement.

The team from GTech visited Singapore to establish global links for Kerala’s IT industry and also to scout for business opportunities for Kerala-based IT companies.
