Novellini ties up with Cera

Our Bureau

Ahmedabad, June 15 Italian wellness company Novellini has tied up with Cera Sanitaryware Ltd to market its products in India. While Cera expects an additional Rs 20 crore from this venture, Novellini expects a turnover of €5-10 million from India within the first three years of operations, according to Mr Giovanni Orlandi, Export Manager, Novellini.

Novellini has operations in around 60 countries, all of which are serviced from a manufacturing facility in Italy. But the company is exploring options of setting up a manufacturing facility in India.

“India will be an important market for us as we will be able to export our products from India to Saudi Arabia and the entire South-East Asia. It might take two years or five years,” said Mr Orlandi.

The company will begin by selling 25 of its 40,000 products in India through the distribution chain of Cera.
