Areva T&D gets JSPL order

New Delhi, June 25

Areva T&D India said on Thursday that it had won orders worth Rs 120 crore for substations and transformers from Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL). The orders for 400/220 kV substation and power transformers are for Jindal's greenfield integrated steel project in Orissa and will be completed by December 2010, Areva said in a statement. Jindal Steel and Power has already commenced on its project near Angul, where it possesses around 4,000 acres of land. -Our Bureau
