SBI Day celebrated

Thiruvananthapuram, July 1

The Local Head Office of State Bank of India celebrated the `State Bank of India Day' here on Wednesday. The staff took a pledge read out to them by the Chief General Manager, Mr S.K. Sehgal, rededicating themselves to the service of the bank and its customers. To commemorate the occasion, the SBI-Kerala Circle adopted 1,100 girl children in the age group of 6 to 14 years through the branches across the State under the SBI Girl Child Adoption scheme. The bank has also launched three new products - the Eazy Home Loan, the SBI Advantage Home Loan and the Ezee Car Loan - to be available from July 1 to September 30. A release from the bank said 10 SBI branches were opened in Kerala in April and May. Another 13 branches and 101 ATMs will be opened in the first week of July and 50 more branches and 150 ATMs this fiscal. - Our Bureau
