NIIT's math lab

Hyderabad, July 1

The `NIIT eGuru Math Lab' was launched by educationist Mr C. Ramaiah at Delhi Public School, Nacharam, Hyderabad. NIIT, a leading software training company, said that mathematics learning should be joyful rather than painful; the aim of this lab is making mathematics simpler, easier and fun to learn for school students. Mr Ramaiah said mathematics does not mean numerals; mathematics means a way of solving problems. He advised teachers not to merely teach problems but help the child to think. - Our Bureau
