Steel Graphite India consolidated net up Kolkata, July 2 Graphite India posted consolidated income from operation of Rs 1,557.86 crore in the financial year to March 31, 2009, registering a growth of 12 per cent over Rs 1,388.36 crore in the previous fiscal. Consolidated net profit grew by 65 per cent to Rs 235.52 crore (Rs 142.34 crore). It recommended a dividend of 150 per cent. A company note said that the demand for graphite electrodes is expected to improve during the second half of 2009-10. - Our Bureau
