‘Budget Talk-2009’, an event featuring experts to analyse the Union Budget organised by BL Club, will be held on Wednesday at the Villa Marie P.G. College for Women.

The panel of speakers are Mr Y. Harish Chandra Prasad, Chairman, CII-AP and Chief of Malaxmi Infra; Mr S. Thirumalai, Senior Advisor, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India; Prof Mubeen Rafat, Area Chairperson (Money, Banking, Corporate Finance) at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI); Mr J.A. Chowdary, MD of NVIDIA Graphics and Chairman of TiE; and Mr A. Viswanath, Chief Operating Officer of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. The event is being sponsored by the CSR Business School.

The focus of the event is to create awareness among the student community, especially the post-graduates in management and commerce about the Budget and its implications.

The two-hour event will have presentations and analysis by the speakers on specific subjects such as Budget – Infrastructure, will it create more job opportunities; has it done enough for the struggling IT sector, the fine print in the indirect tax proposals, stock markets etc.
