Day Trading Guide

Fresh short-position can be initiated if DLF slips below Rs 298, with tight stop-loss. As long as ICICI Bank trades above Rs 680 and SBI trades above Rs 1616, the outlook remains positive for the stocks. Desist trading in Infosys. We recommend a buy in these counters with tight stop. Initiate fresh short position only if L&T tumbles below Rs 1480, with stiff stop-loss. The near-term outlook is bearish for ONGC. We recommend a sell in this stock. We recommend a sell in Reliance Capital and Reliance Communications as the near-term stance is negative. Initiate fresh short-position only if RIL drops below Rs 1825, with stiff stop. Nifty future was choppy in the last trading session and formed spinning top candlestick pattern signalling indecisiveness. Avoid trading in Nifty future as the stance is cautious.
