Arup Gupta, named CEO of Birlasoft

New Delhi, July 8 Mr Arup Gupta, who recently quit as Chief Operating Officer of Polaris Software is all set to take over as the Chief Executive Officer of Birlasoft.

Mr Gupta would replace Mr J. Ramachandran who is moving on due to “personal reasons”.

Mr Gupta would take over his new role on August 1, a company official confirmed. Mr Gupta had resigned from Polaris Software, last month. Noida-headquartered Birlasoft (a part of the global $1.4-billion CK Birla Group) is provider of IT services in both onshore and offshore models.
