Multimedia training academy

Thiruvananthapuram, July 8

The Kerala State Audio Visual and Reprographic Centre (KSAVRC), an autonomous institution established by the Kerala Government, is venturing into multimedia training under the brand `KSAVRC Multimedia Academy'. The academy is planning to have centres in the major cities and towns in the State and they will be operated under franchisee model, according to a release from KSAVRC. Through this new endeavour, the organisation proposes to impart high-end advanced courses in multimedia and animation at an affordable fee to the aspirants. The curriculum has been designed in consultation with stalwarts in the multimedia and animation industry to meet international standards. The State-wide launch of the project is slated for July 13, 2009, and the admission for the first batch will start on the same day, says the release. - Our Bureau
