Cordys' cloud computing tool

Hyderabad, July 9

Cordys Software has launched a business operations platform, BOP-4, based on cloud technology.

"Our BOP-4 platform is an ideal solution for businesses looking to leverage investments in enterprise software and legacy systems,'' Mr Jan Baan, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Cordys, told newspersons here on Thursday.

The cost of the platform would depend on the level of usage and application at individual business level.

"But it is 10 times lower than the existing grid-based ones,'' he said.

Companies such as SOS international, US Express and Tata Motors are using the applications.

"The Nano allotment was completed in less than two minutes with the help of Cordys platform,'' he added.

With two development centres in India (Hyderabad and Coimbatore), The Netherlands-based Cordys currently has 700 employees globally, including over 400 in India. - Our Bureau
