More mangoes for Delhi

Hyderabad, July 10

The South Central Railway (SCR) has transported 34,314 tonnes of mangoes in 1,323 wagons to New Delhi from Nuzivid station, the hub for all mango exports from Andhra Pradesh, during April-June 2009. “We could transport 4,830 tonnes more by deploying 189 wagons more than what we transported last year,” an SCR press release said.
