Visa Steel net profit at Rs 8.7 cr

Kolkata, Oct. 30

During the second quarter of the current fiscal (2009-10), Visa Steel posted a total income of Rs 252.81 crore, EBIDTA of Rs 44.24 crore, profit before tax of Rs 19.11 crore and profit after tax of Rs 8.71 crore. “The company’s revenue earnings during the second quarter of the current fiscal have been stable in spite of a sharp fall in the sales realisation of our products,” said Mr Vishal Agarwal, Managing Director, in a statement here on Friday. “ The volume of production in our operating plants has been better,” he added. – Our Bureau
