Muthoot Capital net rises 25%

Kochi, Nov. 2

Muthoot Capital Services Ltd has registered a 25.68 per cent growth in net profit in the second quarter to Rs 171.39 lakh (from Rs 136.37 lakh). Total income increased to Rs 520.77 lakh (Rs 436.23 lakh), up 19.38 per cent. The company managed to restrict the increase in interest expenditure incurred to 5.61 per cent to Rs 154.25 lakh (Rs 146.06 lakh) for the second quarter this year. The operational expenses during the corresponding period increased by 26.84 per cent to Rs 106.42 lakh (Rs 83.90 lakh).
