IRDA member to retire

Mumbai, Nov. 2

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority member, Mr C.R. Muralidharan, will be laying down office on Tuesday after completing his tenure. Mr Muralidharan joined IRDA in May 2005. Prior to this, he headed the Department of Banking Operations and Development of Reserve Bank of India. It is reliably learnt that Mr R.K. Nair, Executive Director, SEBI, has been shortlisted for the above post.
